Please review the samples of our productions in the program section. When you are comfortable that you are able to create programming to this level of professionalism, then please complete the production application form and submit your credentials to apply for a production assignment.

A member of Voyages will contact you to discuss your background, equipment, production timing, knowledge of the local region, technical requirements and budgeting preparation for production. Many of the production tools can be found for your reference in our Tools section on this site.

When our Voyages Production Coordinator contacts you, we will ask you to complete a questionnaire that assists us in understanding the best level of production you are suited for, be it shooting local luxury properties or joining us for the larger Signature Series productions. Using this information, Voyages will create a shooting schedule for you and your region. Typically a property shoot takes 1 - 2 days depending on the size of the property. Our payment and performance terms are determined on either a daily rate or a set rate for volume of properties or programs you shoot. (see #5 below)

On arrival at a property you will need to immediately contact the property’s appointed point person to do a walk- through of the hotel and facilities, to establish where and what to shoot, and in which sequence.

Once the walk-through is done, you set a shooting schedule and begin work.

In some cases you will need shoot special items (restaurants, night clubs) that can only be filmed at specific times during the day to accommodate for the property staff timetable and workflow. Rooms and facilities must be well dressed, and access to housekeeping staff made available should we need to move furniture, etc., to frame the shot in the best way. We will be providing training documentation and DVD for you to follow. (See Tools section)

Once the property is shot, you forward the video tape or Hard Drive rushes and shooting logs onto Voyages where the footage is edited into a 3 - 7 minute segments depending on the details of the property. The segment is placed online in a password-protected area for the property and you to review. Upon approval from the property, we will make it available to the public.

The copyright of the production remains solely with ©Voyages North America. However, we will license the video to the property for non-competing usage at no cost other than the cost of reproduction and delivery. A copy of our license is available on request.

Once the property is shot, and footage FedExed to Voyages, you can move onto the next property. Generally we give you two properties to shoot at first. if successful we allocate the region to you and work out an ongoing schedule which you can mix and match with your other workload. Our daily rate is a fixed rate. We do not cover additional costs other than video stock and on occasion transportation fees. All courier and accommodation fees where applicable are taken care of by Voyages so you will not be asked to be out of pocket at any stage. Similarly, we will not absorb any additional overheads such as equipment repairs etc.

Voyages covers you while shooting for Public Liability insurance. Equipment insurance is your responsibility.

We pay 30 days upon receipt of invoice and are amenable to discussion of terms prior to the shoot.

You will be credited for your role on the site credit reference list. As the footage is cut into many forms and segments credits will not appear on each segment but a cover credit will be available on the sites production credit lists.
